Meagan Adams is a 22-year-old Senior at the University of North Texas where she is studying Radio Television and Film and minoring in Journalism. She is from the small country town of Lufkin, Texas which is located deep within east Texas.
She is heavily involved with Pi Beta Phi, her sorority located at UNT. Within her sorority, she resides on the executive board as Vice President of Philanthropy. As a chapter, their focus is on literacy and promoting literacy through reading to children and giving back to the community. One way they give back is through donating money to a non-profit organiztion called “First Book” where the focus is to provide underprivileged children with their “first book.” Her responsibilities are to organize all philanthropic events and help with fundraising money for her chapter.
Adams leads an adventurous life and found a love within scuba diving. She is a certified scuba diver with a license in advanced scuba diving. She is also a rescue diver. With her new licenses in hand, she is planning a trip this summer to Cozumel Mexico where she is planning to put her license to good use.
She is set to graduate in December of 2014. Her dream is to become an established editor of the best Hollywood films.
